Milestone One (“MO1”, “we”) as a data controller, is responsible for the processing of your personal data on this website. This Policy describes how we collect information about individuals who visit our website and individuals whose information we may legitimately receive or obtain otherwise, including from business partners, through professional networks, etc.

We do not knowingly attempt to solicit or receive personal information from children.

For which purposes and which of your personal data do we process?

Navigation through our website does not require any form of registration. However, if you subscribe to newsletters, contact us for additional information or reach out to us with other enquiry through this website, to fulfill your enquiry, we will need to collect some of your personal data, at least your name, and e-mail address. We shall also receive the information that you decide to share within your message to MO1. Please make sure that you do not disclose the personal information of other individuals without their awareness.

MO1 may also receive your business-related personal data at the time of conferences or other events organized by professional communities related to clinical trials and pharmaceutics, through professional, customer meetings, etc. In such cases we would normally receive your contact and other professional information from you directly or we may be provided with your information. We deem you aware of such possible distribution of your personal data in the business and professional context.

We may collect and process information about your visit to this website, such as the pages you visit, the websites that linked you to our website, and the searches you do on this website. We will compile aggregate statistics about how people interact with our website, which we do to improve the contents of the site and user experience. To be able to collect such information, we will use cookies and web beacons. Cookies are pieces of data that a website transfers to a user’s computer connected to the Internet. The personal data that MO1 obtains via this website will be available to MO1 staff members responsible for its maintenance and administration, as well as MO1’s team responding to your enquiry. For how long do we keep personal data?

We shall retain personal data for no longer than is necessary to follow our standard procedures, to reach our commercial goals with the consideration of your rights and our business interests, and to fulfill our obligations stemming from contracts, as well as any laws and regulations that may apply to MO1’s business activities. In some cases, we may envisage removal of personal data earlier than our procedures and practices require. For example, if we receive a data erasure request from an individual whose data we process.
