Founded in 1953, Hospital São Marcos is the only High Complexity Oncology Center in Piauí and is fully accredited by the National Accreditation Organization with the highest distinction: Level III, Accredited with Excellence. The hospital plays a pivotal role in cancer care, providing 100 percent of pediatric cancer treatments and 90 percent of adult cancer treatments in the region. With more than 7,000 hospitalizations and 3,200 outpatient consultations under SUS each month, Hospital São Marcos combines reach, expertise, and compassion to serve patients of all ages.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Milestone One in Latin America. Hospital São Marcos brings extensive experience in clinical trials, particularly in oncology, backed by modern infrastructure and a highly qualified team. Together, we will expand access to high-quality clinical trials, strengthen study operations through training and knowledge-sharing, and ensure the highest standards of data reliability, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.
